WHO ARE WE ?

Secondary 1 students who aim to reduce packaging waste and general waste through raising awareness on practical and innovative ways to reuse and recycle ‘waste’. We hope to instil the habit of sustainable consumption.

WHO DO WE REPRESENT ?

The 3Rs project is part of St. Margaret’s Secondary School’s Salt and Light Programme (SLP), an integration of Values in Action (VIA) and Project Work. The main aim of SLP is to develop students who are others-centred contributors. Students will serve the community; this involves the process of identifying the needs of the community and reflecting on their experiences in working with the community.

Our 3R Project Comprises

  • 3Rs of general waste - Raise awareness to the public on innovative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle general ‘waste’. (Sec 1-4)

  • 3Rs of packaging waste - Raise awareness to the public on innovative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle ‘packaging waste’. (Sec 1-3)

We will also share with you pictures and videos of the exciting things we have done to reach out to a wider target audience for this good cause.  Check out “Our Projects” page.
